Information about the retreat:

When?
The retreat starts on March 30th (Thursday), with dinner around 7 pm. We recommend arriving between 4 and 7 pm to leave enough time for settling in. The welcome session starts at 8 pm.
The retreat ends on April 2nd (Sunday) after lunch, around 2 pm. The closing session is planned for 12 pm (changes are possible).

Where?
Venue address: Gästehaus Schwanenwerder, Inselstraße, Berlin, Deutschland.
We will have a shuttle service to pick participants up at the train station S Nikolassee.

Who?
~40-80 people who are mainly based in Europe and work on AI safety or intend to work on AI safety. (technical AI safety, AI policy, AIS field building)

What?
Participants will prepare sessions (for example presentations about projects they worked on, discussions of research agendas, or work groups to solve a particular problem)

Costs?
We are funded by the long-term future fund, and there will be no costs for participating. Limited travel funds are available (max 100€ p.P.).
